CPL have handled the letting and maintenance of our flat for about 16 years. I have only ever had the best experience with them. I searched for a letting agent in Cambridge, and found these agents to work with integrity and with the right emphases for me - having a relationship with the tenants so any difficulties can be dealt with within that, keeping a watch for structural issues in the property, proper annual reports with photographs, guidance and choice over price to let at and good communication with us. I had a good experience while renting for 2.5 years with CPL, they are fabulous for dealing with maintenance issues where honestly all issues were solved promptly and they usually reply for your requests within max 1 day without chasing which is really good. When it comes to the end of the tenancy, I didn't agree with some parts of the check out report but for deductions they were fair and reasonable, We were able to reach common ground smoothly without any disputes. Thanks everyone for this good experience especially Erika which handled a lot of discussions smoothly during the check out.

I started dealing with CPL about ten years' ago. They initially found a suitable investment property for me. They then arranged an extension on my behalf. They have since continually found tenants. They have dealt with everything right from major issues down to trivia! I certainly wouldn't have wanted to attempt all the work they have done on my behalf myself. They have all the necessary contacts in the Cambridge area and they have full experience in the letting of property. They know of all the builders, electricians, gardeners, etc. and all the government issues which need carrying out such as sorting the HMO Certificate. They also have full experience of students in the area and contacts with the colleges for finding tenants. Right from the owner, to all the staff I have dealt with over the years, I have been really pleased and satisfied with CPL, have found them to be excellent at their job, and it has been a pleasure to deal with them.

We have been very impressed with the service over 2 and a half years with Jeremy and his team at Cambridge Property Lettings. We entrusted the smooth running of 2 let properties in Cambridge with them (having been totally dissatisfied with another company), and we found that they were utterly professional and always at the end of the telephone. Rachael was our property manager and she has been incredibly efficient, polite and a pleasure to deal with. A real asset to the company. Having lived in a CPL-managed house for three years, I can happily say that they are one of the best property management companies in the business. Student/young professional living is rife with horror stories about awful landlords etc, but CPL (specifically, our wonderful property manager Rachael) have looked after us incredibly well throughout. No request has been too much, and I have always felt that the company fought our corner. The property was well maintained throughout our lengthy tenancy. All repairs were handled within a few days at most (urgent repairs always the same day - up to and including a fairly dramatic burst underground pipe rapidly eroding its way through the floor) and any deteriorating furniture/fittings rapidly replaced - all free of charge to us as tenants. Thank you Rachael for all you've done to support us - you're an absolute star.

I can only say good things about CPL. For the nearly 7 years that we rented a house under Rachael Ratcliffe's management, we have absolutely no issues. She has always been very responsive - all jobs were promptly repaired by a professional team of workers (particularly Simon, the plumber, he is really good!) and even the washing machine was readly exchanged by a new one once we had issues. Rachael has always been very friendly, polite, fair and professional, making sure everything was done properly and fairly. The check out from the house was really easy and again, professional. We were scared of this moment as it had been 7 years, but all fine! They recommended a good cleaning company, that isn't cheap, but did a very good job. Of course, we used their services as tenants, but I can imagine they'd be just as good for landladies/landlords as they were to us. Cambridge has a very bad reputation for horrible estate agencies, but CPL is not the case at all. I definitely recommend! My husband and I wish all the very best to Rachael and the team!

Cambridge Property Lettings but especially Vincent our property manager have been amazing at solving an issue we have had with our bills and billing companies. He has come round and dealt with issues in person and has kept us all updated with anything that has been happening. We have had nothing but pleasant experiences with Cambridge Property Lettings, from Michael showing us round loads of student properties to our property manager Vincent helping us in literally every way possible! The staff are so friendly and it massively reassures us that we know we're in good hands. Our property started to develop mould and Vincent was on the case straight away and it is no longer an issue. In addition to that, Vincent has helped us out no end with sorting out our bills as there were complications with that also! I was with CPL for more than two years. Absolutely happy with them and the flat we rent. The CPL team are always professional and helpful. Their responses are very quick. During the winter they help to check and fix the mould issues. At the end of my stay, we clean the flat following the clear instruction that CPL provided and got the deposit back fully. Though there were ageing or marks for example in the kitchen worktop. I feel the CPL is really helping us for a smooth transition. Fully recommended.

We rented a property with CPL for a year and a half ending last September and had no issues with them (late review!). They were always professional and responded in a reasonable time to any queries. After the first year, we asked to go month to month and didn't have any issues doing that (which I realize is also due to the landlord being reasonable/nice to deal with). Near the end, they always gave us sufficient notice when they wanted to visit and show the flat. When it came time to leave, the process was smooth and the deductions from our deposit was reasonable, especially in comparison with our previous rental estate agents. In summary: without a doubt the better of the two estate agents we've been with in Cambridge.

I stayed with CPL for 2.5 years from beginning of 2017 to the middle of 2019 and I'm fully satisfied with this agency. The contract opening fee was fair and modest compared to other agencies, the procedure of vacating the property went easy as well. I left some minor damage to the property, and deductions for cleaning etc. were reasonable. They always replied to any emails or requests of mine very quickly. I was always well-informed, as documentation and contracts were clear and all the information was provided to me in advance. The rent price was raised twice (after first year and second year), but not significantly and I believe this was proportional to inflation rates in UK due to Brexit. Many times they helped me out. For instance once I locked myself out and they gave me a ride from the agency office back to my property and opened the flat with a reserve key. When I wasn't sure about my final day of rent, they also agreed to prolong my stay on a rolling month-to-month contract and informed me when it was impossible to prolong the tenancy any longer, as they found a new tenant. Several times they hired contractors to help me out with repairs of the heater and kitchen tap - again, with no problems. Generally, my experience with CPL was great and I have absolutely nothing to complain about.

Super friendly, honest, ethical and super efficient/useful staff, whenever we needed any kind of service (i.e. something at the property not working, same or next day we had a contractor fixing it). I've had some really bad experiences with agencies. But CPl, and Rachel who we depart with, are a different breed. She is responsive polite and helpful. It has honestly changed my opinion of estate agents. I'd say use this firm. It would be worth it even if you have to pay a little more! Beacuse using other places means you've got no help when things go wrong. Thanks again Rachel and CPL.

Angela Grant from Cambridge Property Lettings was very helpful throughout out the 2 years of living in one of their properties. Also when moving out we got a large chunk of our deposit back, we were not ripped of at all. This is rather unusal with some estate agents as they're usally trying to rip you off. I would deffintely recommend CPL.
